great. how do u do this? seen a few people post pics like this where the colour of one object is retained and the rest is black and white or sepia.

Another not that easy way is to create another layer of the picture in Photoshop, then convert the top layer to monochrome. After that, use the Eraser tool, to "reveal" the colors.
