Default where to 'dispose' off old coins

I have a small boxfull of old coins from various countries..

for example, got several 100 Yen coins dating to the early 50s
are they worth their face value or worth more?

any idea where i can let them off to?
will money exchangers or banks take them?

    Your advice is much appreciated.

There used to be a few shops on the upper floors of Peninsula Shopping Centre (that is where TCW is) that dealt with stamps and maybe they do coins as well. You might try your luck there.

if yours are circulation coins, i doubt they will worth more than their face value. lucky plaza and liang court, clifford centre are places where you can find few numismatic shops.

if you feel charitable, changi airport has a collection point where travellers can donate various currencies into it.

I have a Chinese coin dating back to the 18th century... How much can it get? Actually I have a pile of really old coins passed down from my family... Like hierloom now...

during coins fair at liang court or other places, you can seek valuation free of charge.
