i don't believe ever whether weather resistance or waterproof camera unless specifically mentioned 'splash-proof' or 'watertight' with plastic casing or underwater camera casing with rubber seal usually used by the scuba diver is more logical. or some kind of condensation free then acceptable to me. Externally wet can be wipe and drying up but not condensation inside your lenses which will make you to get rid of lens or selling it off.

    Cheers.

been shooting in the rain last couple of weeks and a couple of times it was raining a river

my set up was a naked Olympus OM-D + 12-50 zoom .... and nothing else no umbrella no plastic bag

As it is a review set and does not belong to me, I could care less if the camera died on me .... its still working well without any problems including last saturday and sunday's photowalks (I had 8 sets all loaned out to walk participants) .... just the neck strap starting to smell bad after mixing with sweat and rainwater and still 1/4 damp

Anyway most cameras will survive a heavy drizzle .... just dry it off quick
shaddap and just shoot .... up close
