If you stereotype talents in what you think/feel they can only look good at, then you're just limiting your imagination and what you and them can achieve.
While I don't have the experience/knowledge to know whether Cassey, the Organiser & photographers can or can not pull off the concept, I do recognise that the moment we all stop trying to be different, we are going to lose the magic. A concept is borne from imagination, when you just want to stick to the tried and tested, then you're just rehashing what everyone else has done before you. You don't want to dream, to try new experiences, to push out of your comfort zone.
This photoshoot is not even say a particularly ambitious nor a wildly unbelievable concept; in your words it's a 18yo in a bridal gown. And you already want to restrict thinking. Where's the sense of adventure and wonder. What drew me to photography, it's the chance to create and capture my imagination. I wish organised photoshoots are a lot more creative, crazy and engaging, then even I would be tempted to join in.
And I think a lot of people actually know what they are paying their monies for so attempting to point out what they are getting from this shoot is a little rude. I'm sure we can all think for ourselves.
Apologies to Mambostevie for the OT.
