    I'm using 70-200mm F4L for the above shots, I find the zoom insufficient, I need to do lotsa cropping to achieve what you see above. Any recommendation of lens for shooting birds??

    300 F4L or 400 F5.6L + TC's..
    Not too extravagant.

    Actually, it's just a metter of getting use to. My camera, 50-500 + tripod has more or less become my walk about combo

    Haha thanks... i took afew shots of it and this one turned out to be the best.
