Default Shooting from the hip

These pictures were taken on my way to the lab to have my film developed. There were a few shots left in the film.
Decided not to shoot using the viewfinder. Just kept the camera at waist level.
No flash was used. Set at aperture priority f3.5. Sometimes I would get speeds of 1/8 sec.

Taken using Dynax 5, Tokina 17mm

Yup, 2nd shot I was sitting on the bench with the camera on my lap to minimize camera shake.

Thanks for the comments.

Thanks. There were some shots that didn't turn out well. I was too far. Still trying to get a hang of 17mm.

Hi Sulhan. How was vacation. Will watch for your landscape posts. I'm getting to like 17mm. Sometimes its too wide though. But it's fun.
Hope to see you at the Minoltians gathering. Merry Christmas!
