Default macro lens

most of us here using inon and epoque macro lens.. anyone here used olympus pcu-01 before? is it not sold in singapore hah? (anyway i bought it liao, from overseas...) just wanna hear you guys' comments.

remember lanxx told me it has the highest magnification among the three... how much is it exactly ah, lanxx? thought it is all 2x?

Maybe Gildow will be in a better position to comment on the usage of the lense

hmmm.. if not wrong.. gildow owns 1 or 2 PCU 01 macro lens..

hmm.. and PCU-01 has a 2.4x magnification.. i think?

anyone or other forums did a review on all 3 available lens ar?

i oredi bought. it is on the way.. i just wanna know more than what i know now about it, and see if anyone else uses it. eh sai bo?

get another inon UCL165, then you have 4.4x!!!
but DOF might be a problem.

eh i am still trying to get used to using one macro lens... now cannot stack la, haha..

pai seh...pass few days too busy to log in...

anyway, great lens...have not tried any other macro lens but from what i read from other thread, it kind of behaves like inon, dun have to use super macro(u can if u want, juz slightly harder to get a focus)....

a shot taken with the macro lens...


and the actual same nudi with out the macro lens

oh one more thing, if u planning to stack, the UN lens actually dun have any tread on the outside, u can only stack it with some other macro lens and the oly would be the top most one....

one question ah

if i stack a Inon 330 and a Inon 165 can i focus from a further distance? or still restricted to the max of around 12cm of the 165?

Dont go for 330 with 165...

Two 165 are better choice..

Adv of 2 ML....less zooming...better DOF...

Dylan tried 3 Macro lens (2 ML 165 + Epoque ML) during our Lembeh trip....

Now 2 ML are the min for him now.

Paul has started 3 ML (1 Inon 165 , 1 Inon 330 + Epoque ML) since the Hunta trips....Results have been impressive too..But I doubt he is going to use his ML anymore ...Anyone buying his ML...
