guess this lady wasn't going to give up her seats for some pain till its too much for her to bear.
Actually Straits Times mentioned that she swapped to another seat after feeling a stinging sensation, could be a train that has just been released from the depot thus explaining the presence of empty seats.

Do the cleaning crews work in Tyvek or Tychem coveralls with respirator? That would meant they are using rather corrosive cleaning chemicals.

I drive train for a living... not supervised cleaner... but don't think I ever seen anyone wearing anything more than rubber gloves.

This whole think better not turn I to a 'Witch Hunt'....

If the backside 'burn' till like this... don't even think the woman could walk to look for station staffs...

I wouldn't discount the possibility, extremely corrosive chemicals might be stocked somewhere in the rare event whereby massive amount of organic matters would have to removed from the undercarriage.

don't think they would use extremely corrosive chemicals for that "purpose"... the chemicals would eat into the metal undercarriage, causing it to severely rust, and they would then have to change the whole undercarriage anyway... they would probably use detergent and high powered hose for that...

IIRC, there are bleach for such purpose? Really it depends on the formulation and concentration.

Just add. Some remains of the body actually hardens making it quite difficult to remove just like hardened pieces of toilet paper stuck to the celling.

Susukida Ryuji, a 53-year-old Japanese general manager of Men-ya Kaiko restaurant chain has been charged with leaking concentrated detergent onto seat [01].

Pretty nasty staff here. Commonly used in drain cleaner didn't knew it's also used as detergent for automatic dishwasher.

Maybe it's the same approach: clearing the drains and dissolving any organic material that could clog the drain pipes.

Guys, could the liquid be sperm?

It has found to possess corrosive property if it's from a testosterone-charged Singapore alpha male who has got over-excited on a MRT train.

Uncle Sion, as a matter of fact what you mentioned is not too far away from reality.

Seminal fluid contains the polyamine compound, spermidine and spermine which are synthesized from putrescine produced by the prostate gland. It is these along with the diamine compound, cadaverine, that gives seminal fluid its distinctive bleach like smell.

Purpose of these corrosive alkaline bases with a rather high acute toxicity factor in significant amounts is to neutralise the acidic denaturation environment of the vaginal canal.

So its plausible that this woman was over excited ? Maybe she sat next to uncle Sion ?
