Adobe PS 7 help

1. I wanted to automate (batch process) the task of adding a signature to my pictures using the action command. However in an action how can one specify that the signature comes in the same location (bottom right for eg) in all pictures. It comes allright as long as the pictures are in landscape, but changes or gets cropped when the orientation changes to potrait.

2. Is there any way to view Nikon nef files on Adobe PS 7 or do I have to upgrade to CS.
