still expensive....  read a lot about S3 on Dpreview forum. it's almost same as S2, except SR II sensor n a little 'pro' look on d body(still f80 body)... is it really worth for $3500........  |

Was at Cathay today. Saw the S3Pro .. was quoted S$3,500 (nets).
Played with it a bit. Focussing seems like the D70, ie faster than S2. Shutter blackout time also similar to D70 (also better than S2). Body is definitely very good and solid. The vertical grip was good. Image display was slower than D70 but faster than S2. Looks tempting. |

Errr... the vertical grip sucks... no control dial... dunno wad's the purpose for it.... egronomics
 ..... At least I won't be parting my $4K for this camera....  I'd rather stick wif my S2..... Just my 2cents |
