I'm using the 15-30 and 24-105 mainly.. only 1-2 shot with the 100mm macro.

Yeah, your dee-seven-tee is really accurate... there was once I asked for the price of D7D, and the guy quoted me SD$1.something k, I was like SHUT UP!!! GIVE ME 2 SET, NOW, IMMEDIATELY!!! MOVE!! MOVE!! MOVE!! aft that, I always state 'Minolta 7D'

Yeah! 15-30 is very nice on 7D.. love it! (Luckily, my kar-chiu not so fast.. )

Very nice pics! Btw des, I am seriously considering a wide angle lens like yours. How much was that? The kit lens I am using now barely make it at night..

Hi Tokrot, which lens you own other than 28-75/2.8, the new 17-35/2.8-4 should do a good job as well. If I not wrong this 15-30 is selling at around $1.2K.. (someone pls correct me if I'm wrong). Cheers!

15-30? Which lens maker is that by?

How do you find Minolta's 24-105? Read some reviews that sharpness was not as good as expected of a lens which was promoted with Dynax 7 when D7 was first launched.

wow... that's lot of $$$,, I guess I have to wait. Already spent near to 3.5k for D7D already. I own 70-300 Sigma too besides the KM 28-75/2.8.

I had many occasions with The KM lens where it is not wide enough to frame my target, had to step back behind behind many times.. Probably it's my tactics. Anyway to improve? Thanks!

Hi Colin,

I can't really tell still.. haven't got enough shooting to conclude anything.. but so far, its is better than I thought with 7D.

Get a wide angle! Or wait for any APS lens to be release for Minolta mount.

BTW, how much you bought the Sigma 70-200?

$330 from MS color.. Remember to e-quote them to get cheaper prices..
