canon digital warranty

hi

I am considering buying over a canon digital camera from someone.
It does not come with the receipt and warranty card is not sent.
So will canon still service the camera if anything happens with the
warranty card alone?

well...it will be better if got the recipet as well as most service centres will insist on both receipt and warranty card...but tink if the camera is not a old model then shouldn't be a problem...
