Default Pics of a greedy little creature

It was busy eating and looking for food, oblivious to the presence of me Was able to take the pic up close at 3-4 feet. How do you guys find the pic?

(should be pic instead of pics )

My goodness, that's a great shot! If it were me, by the time I take my camera out of my bag, uncap the lens and switch it on, it would've run far away already...

This is a great shot. You were 3~4 feet away only? Wow, he must be really hungry.

Thanks for your comments This is the only one that allowed me to get so close. The others I encoutered usually run away when I approach I even had time to lower myself down to take the pic

was this taken locally or abroad? those squirrels I encountered in the states have been so used to humans feeding them that they have completely lost their 'wild' nature and will go towards humans for food...
the one in my avatar is one of them; here's another :

(ok, your title rightfully say pics now )

Notice the difference in the bushiness of their tails when you compare Singapore squirrels with US squirrels?

Both the shots are very nice!

For the fun of it, here's a little one that is living in my backyard. It is only about 15 cm from head to tail, and it is very timid. I only managed to take this shot from my window (about 5 meters away) using my CP995+TC-E2 at maximum zoom plus cropping.

Thanks
This is off-topic, but just a note that the squirrel in my avatar is actually nibbling on a potato chip thrown by a tourist! This is actually detrimental to them! (the squirrel, that is) So next time you visit those wild parks, pls heed the signs!

as in giving them NuTs?

kidding

the squirrels in the states are big. guess they eat what the americans eat

I ever saw one squirrel in Singapore near the Bugis area. It looks skinny and malnourished.

nice shot, but I have think if you can lay down to the ground, shot from the same level as the squirrel, with some grass in front, that would create a stunning view. This is what I have seen in photography books.
