whata do with fog

if theres condensation on the lens, assuming no prevention measures were taken, should i just put the lens into the dry cabi and let it do its thing, should i wipe the fog off first before putting in, or either ways shouldn't be a problem?

let the condensation dry off first then keep the lens

whenever possible, always let your equipment acclimatise to the ambient temperature.
