My first flower macro attempt

Newbie here. It's my first attempt after completing a photo class. Comments appreciated.



Taken using Dynax 5, Sigma 105 macro, Fuji Superia 100. Set to aperture priority. Can't remember exact f number.

Thanks. Flower was taken at Botanical Gardens. Just one of those things near the lake. Nope, no flash. Taken near noon. I guess it's one of those instances when even though the light is harsh it still looks ok.

hmm.. sometimes i actually like harsh lighting. makes everything crisp and sharp.. better than a cloudy day anytime!
