Default Macro on the Canon S1

How can i do macro shots on the Canon S1?

I understand there is no macro feature for this camera.

But i do have the filter adapter.
So do i get a 58mm +4 closeup filter to get macro shots since i have the filter adapter?

Thanks

Yes, you are right. If you can afford, go get the Canon 250D. It is much better in terms of quality.

A double element closeup +4 filter (so called lens too) for better quality and reduce distortion at corners.

Any idea if the Canon converter is a 52mm thread?

The Canon LA-HDC10 lens adapter provides a 52mm filter mount.
