CANON SCREEN EC-B EOS-1/1N/1V/EOS-3 (NEW SPLIT)
Matte field with split-image focusing spot in the center Used for general photography with all lenses. CANON SCREEN EC-I EOS-1/1N/1V/EOS-3 (LASER MATTE WITH DOUBLE CROSS HAIR RETICLE) Matte field with clear center spot containing double cross-hair reticle. Focusing is possible using the floating image of the central crosshair Particularly useful for photornicrography and astropholography. Surrounding matte field can be used with all lenses. Very different! Your answer is easily research by using any Internet search, try that 1st pls! ![]() |

Yes, this is identical to what the manual tells me. I dont understand what the "floating image of the central crosshair" is. How does it help you focus? What is the difference between this and the split image prism of the EC-B? Is manual focusing easier with the EC-I? The manual was not too clear about this you see. ![]() |
