    Will my d3100 fit ALL nikon lenses? including FX and the older lenses?

    Yes, they will mount, but they may have limited capabilities. AI lenses will not meter iirc, and only AF-S or AF-I lenses will autofocus. AF-D lenses will not autofocus.

    Including D5100 mount 50mm 1.8D will not autofocus?

    Actually the mount is called Nikon F mount and is the same throughout all Nikon models now. It's just the compatibility of the bodies. Yes, the 50mm f1.8D will not AF on a D5100

    Using MF on D5100 is it hard to focus when shooting using viewfinder?

    Depends on which lens you are using. Also, a split focusing screen will help with MF.

    If I'm using a 50mm 1.8D? Can explain more detail? Sorry I'm newbie here considering to get a D5100, yet duno anything about it..

    Depends on which lens because:
    1. Fast lenses will ensure a brighter viewfinder so easier to manual focus
    2. Certain lenses have better focus rings so easier to manual focus

    Focusing screen is an accessory that you can purchase to replace your existing focusing screen. Can Google focusing screen to find out more.
