    need it to be light...

    the Pro 330 DX by SLIK seems not bad..If you're going down to oe of the shops to check out the tripod, let me know..might be interested too.

    light....the carbon fibre tripods are the way to go.....ballhead can decide separately....

    Only about $110 for the tripod (comes with detacheable 3-way head) and $85 for the manfrotto 486 ballhead. Tripod is light because of the special alloy which is about 40% lighter than others like Manfrotto tripods.
