Default Horizontal line Guide for D7D..

Hi Guys,

Went for night shots few days ago. Few shots turned out to be slightly slanted at horizontal. Anyone knows anyway to correct posure? My s602z has this vertical/horizontal guiding lines but I can't find it on D7D. I suppose D7D does not have such feature.

You just have to be more careful when composing your shots. If your camera is mounted on the tripod, use the edges of your viewfinder to align the horizon, then recompose the pic by tilting up/down. For those pics that you've taken, rotate them in PS till the horizon is straight.

Change the focusing screen to one that has grid lines. Check your manual for that. It can be done at KM service centre.

Cheers!

They should build in a electronic spirit level into the camera that shows the degrees of rotation.

Or a gyroscopic horizon scale?

It's an optical VF, either change the focusing screen to the gride types, pay more attention when composing (yes, I have my share of slant pics) or rotate it on the comp...
