Yup. It's quite a challenge to track these flying birds and yet focus fast enough to capture the fast paced action. All these shots are taken with manual focus by anticipating where they will fly into before I squeeze off the shutter.

Need advice from experts here on how to capture flying birds in better detail and ultimate sharpness. Any skills I can learn or experiment from? I am using the Sigma 50-500mm lens and using manual-focus-cum-anticipating-the-next-likely-position-of-these-birds-techniques.
