Provia 400F Bulk Roll Film is now available at Cathay Photo

Just received a hotline call from Cathay Photo -

The Provia 400F Bulk Film is IN!!

... finally after 3 long months of waiting. The price is $140/can (GST inclusive; all modes of payment incl. credit card, cash, NETs).

We are not going to do MO for this (unless someone can fork out S$4200

to buy the film on behalf of ClubSNAP) ... anyone? anyone? .... Unfortunately, this means that its first come, first served at Cathay. Fortunately, Cathay ordered 42 cans, so there should be enough for everyone.

Therefore, head on down to Cathay Photo and tell them that you are a member of ClubSNAP and you are here for the bulk film (ask for Michael).

For the record, we have 30 cans on order from ClubSNAP from the following people:-

Hi Adam.... I'm still new to bulk film. Please enlighten me...

I will need to purchase a bulk loaded (around $70+), any type of bulk film cost around $135~$150, Empty film Canister (obtainable free from labs) and changing bag (around $25)

How many rolls of film can we get from a bulk roll (estimated)?

Where can I get a bulk loaded. (I know there is a thread on this before)?

For some of us, we can load 22 cannisters of 34-35 exposures per can. Hmm...maybe it's time again for some of us to do a realtime demonstration on bulk loading...

All those who placed yr order for the bulk film, its better to go down to CP and get it ASAP. Seems like they have a list of those who collected and those who didn't. Went to collect the film on Sat 27/7/02 and notice that alot of us have yet to collect it.
