Canon 580EX vs Metz 54MZ-4(with M3 new adaptor)

Hi there,

am deciding on which one to get...heard that metz is better, appreciate anyone who has tried both to comment/advice...Btw Metz new M3 adaptor(for canon 1DMkii & 20D) is still not available in Singapore

It's probably too new I guess. How much is the Metz 54MZ-4 btw? The 54MZ-3 was selling for $500++ previously, cheaper than the 550EX then.

I have great respect for the Metz flash but the 550EX/580EX aren't too bad either.
