Whats the purpose of editing the exif? You can choose not to show exif, but why you need to edit them.....

What for? Just my 2cts, EXIF is useful if you really never post processed the pix in Photoshop. None of the shooting detail is correct if you have even manipulated it in your RAW processing software.

hi bro, agreed...
but im planning to create a pic gallery of all my fave pics i've taken, and i have quite a lot. the gallery software automatically extracts exif data and puts a summmary of it right below the picture. i like being able to browse my pics with a time, date, which camera i used to take it, ISO, focal length etc settings. mainly those few lah. Some of my pics were taken ages ago with FILM, as well as those super old 1 mp digi cams. i did keep track on some of my film pics the focal length, film ISO used etc. So i hope to add all these data in to the EXIF once i scanned in the negatives so i'll never forget. Anyways i found the tool liao. its pretty useful, it even allow u add in your own fields! This will be definitely useful. I may add in another field "Workflow" so i can record the workflow. This way it will be forever embedded in the image... |

Maybe it's similiar to those mp3 tags? Although image may have been manipulated, some other info e.g. author, date / time ... can still be useful.
