Default Otter makan ikan

Lousy weather, otter hides in the shadows makaning... Shot from quite far... sorry for the poor quality. ISO800 else impossible to shoot. My flash extender is redundant at this kind of distance.

300mm f/2.8 + 2x TC on a D70. The background will tell the tale and it is not the zoo. Wet weather man... go shoot when the sun is up!! Oh a croc is seen too...

Thanks chngpe01, I am encouraged. The PS is terrible, noise is also very high. But it was really an eye opener to see such action in our very own Singapore! Bird locations so secret that I have gone to shoot anything that moves now!

Good catch!

Does the sound of bone crunching still lingers in your ears?

That place is no secret. In fact, it is famous for birds. Seeing otters and croc there is a big big bonus. They symbolized the successfulness of the reserve. I hope they make that place a home!

Erm...that area if i am not wrong (freshwater pond near 3A), still got grey herons making nests or not. Used to have a couple 2 months ago.

Geez....i think the crocs are even rarer than them otters. Tomorrow you can try 4D or Toto on Thurs.

Thinking of getting a spotter scope, much easier to see lei... I use eye ball scan water have to look very slowly for strange patterns and ripples..

Cool otters!!! Where are they?

By the way, there seems to be a lil bit of colour cast between all the pics...
