Default Power of Nikon 12-24 + Nikon Capture + Ninja Noise

Hi everyone,
having previously been a prosumer cam user (canon g series) i never really understood how powerful RAW images could be, and how much you could actually fiddle around with them to get SO much out of your image....

I used to think "wah lao RAW file take up 5 times more space, why shd i bother??" but now im like "oh man i can ONLY shoot raw".

Anyway there has been lots of discussion about nikon 12-24/capture and that resparked my interest in it again. (haven't been taking photos lately). Thats when i decided to edit some of my older pictures to show everyone how good 12-24 + capture + a bit of noise ninja can be!

Im quite a crap photographer (trying my best to get better) and the photos u see are some of the better ones (although not as good as i would like them to be). I've attached full 100% , 50% and 35% crops of the image, so u can see that even at 100%, with capture, the quality is amazing!!

enjoy the 12-24 + capture power!!!

oh ya one thing i dun like abt the d70 is the noisy skies u get... nothing a bit of noise ninja can't solve though.... ideally a d70 with the noiselevel lf a 20d or a 1dmk2 would be awesome.. but im not complaining for the entry levle nikon slr...

Same story here! It's only when I tried shooting in NEF and using Capture did I see what I was missing. And that after shooting 2k+ shots

Still, better late than never

Yes, i've been seeing a lot of nice photos shot by this lens. And I am planning to use my ERS to buy one.

Anyway, nice photos. But I noticed the first pic, the trees and buildings near the horizon are slanting to the right. Distortion?

Oh nice pair of shoes btw.

haha bro!! with NEF + Capture its no longer a problem!!

the NEF file effectively contains data for +/- 1 full ev stop, can easily adjust
