Default Flash Accessories: External Battery Pack EP-2 and Bounce Reflector V-Set

Was Just thinking about it... For some event coverage, I needed a faster recharge rate and extended juice for my flash. Does the EP-2 improves charging time significantly? I understand that it's powered by 6xAA batteries, so is it used in conjuction with the flash's own 4xAA cells? I understand that there are other external power solutions as well, can anyone suggest other power packs compatible with the 5600 HS (D), Charging rate improvement is the piority over juice duration... I could always swap the flash's own batt... But recharging rate is another thing...

And the bounce reflector set, anyone has any experience? Thinking about it as i think it'll be a more elegant way to bringing out on the field compared to white umbrellas taped to a tripod
Anyone knows where it may be available in Singapore?

Or can someone recommend me a means to hold a reflector in place so that I can bounce my flash(s)of it? It's going to be brought out onto the street and hope that it won't be too much of a chore to set up... I know I'm going to look like an idiot setting up lighting and shooting in the middle of town... So I hope I could minimize the idiot part... not that I really mind... And nah, I don't think I can ask my GF to hold the reflector and let me shoot her at the same time...

TIA!!!

here is my 2kbs worth of opinion. I have been using the EP-2 for almost a year and all I can say that without it I could use up to 6 sets of 4 AA alkaline on a 8 hour basis. I'm using the EP-2 with my 5400hs and 5600 D.

For this camera a new flash and a new adapter is still in planning. We will inform you as soon as the adapter and the flash is available.

so whats the diff between a EP-1 & EP-2?

btw if you use a 5600, do you still use a omnibounce? i find that putting on a omnibounce makes the picture become darker even with TTL... the flash output is incorrect.

Was thinking about it at work today... Think I'll skip on the bounce reflector... Just go get a cheapo reflector from east gear and a holder/stand from CP... No idea how much tho...

Think 5600 only accept the EP-2? I guess Ep-1 is for older flash?
