Default Nikon D2X

Hi guys, saw the specs of D2X which ISO is only up to 800. Does it have a hi1600 or hi3200? If no, wat happen if we need a high ISO setting?

might be that Nikon deem the noise levels at ISO1600 and ISO3200 not meeting its high standards.

there're ways to "simulate" it. someone has posted before I think. you could shoot raw at ISO800, apply a -1EV and you'll get shutter speeds similar to when ISO1600 is used. when you push the final results, it'll be somewhat similar to a ISO1600 shot.

btw, did we meet at Change Alley today?

It has HI1 and HI2, which is equivalent to ISO1600 and ISO3200 respectively.

Having a cap at ISO800 makes sense when you use Auto ISO and I'd rather it cap at a usable ISO of 800... Having said that, I would have preferred if there was a custom function to set your own cap for the ISO...
