It's got to be at least a yearly thing!

I am already thinking if we should go Batam? Turi Turi anyone?

Or Penang? Batu Feringgi, and many more sunrise and sunset opportunities (that's got wooden jetties, rocks). There's also lots of streets too.

This fishing village called Teluk Mata Ikan in Batam looks like a good place for photography if it is still around...Turi Beach resort is nice, stayed there a few times before the price increase...

our life in Singapore: Teluk Mata Ikan - a fishing Kampong in Batam.

    My colleague is from Bintan.
If you guys are interested, we can organize and outing there some time.

    Roughly from speaking to him:
Return Ferry to Tanjung Pinang- ~$53 (1hr)
    Hotel : ~$35-45 per room/night (local rate)
    Mini-van (can take 8 persons) with driver : ~$35-45.
