Since you said CS ACR can open, just capture it with a $20 USB 2.0 CF card reader lar. Don't know how many times better than the D70 "USB 2.0" connection. Even a generic brand can easily do 7-8MB/s with a Lexar 80X.

yah... just downloaded the plugin for camera raw support for adobe photoshop CS and I say... I really prefer this over nikon capture. If you already have photoshop CS, download raw camera support here

Anyway how can we copy and paste out the exif information on a picture? I mean I can see the info but lazy to type again so wanna copy and paste...

Transfer your NEF files by using a USB2 multi-memory reader. The USB on the D70 is actually USB ver 1.1 and is very slow. I tried transfering almost 2GB using the built in USB... wah piang... kill me... SO SLOW.............

Set your camera mode to PTP and then go to windows explorer and copy out via the new removable drive.

Alternatively like KO has mentioned, use Nikon View, it should be able to detect on connecting and prompt you to download regardless of JPG, TIFF, NEF.

D70 comes with Picture Project, the older DSLRs come with Nikon View.

It can be downloaded at - http://www.nikon-asia.com

Nikon View can be downloaded free from the Nikon sites. I personally like it more than Picture Project. You might want to give it a try.
