Lens hood for S7000?
Hi,
Anyone know where I can find a lens hood for S7000? Is there a specific brand that I have to buy or just anyone will do? How much will it cost? Thanks!... |

i don't think it is possible to attach a lens hood on s7000 without vignetting. FYI, i got a Tamron 58mm cylinder-type plastic lens hood, and i mod it into flower-petal shape. Still after i cut almost all the corners (almost until the mounting part), vignetting is still there on 35mm full wide. So lastly i dumped the plastic hood. I even tried using a Hoya collapsible rubber hood, but the same problem still exist: vignetting at 35mm.

do you have an adaptor? If you get the original one (thread 55mm), you can just get a normal lens hood.
