    Default Is Hyundai Accent1.5(A) good?

Im planing to buy a new car and want to keep it for the full 10 yeaars. This will be my first car and i dont know much about cars. My budget is S$63,000 and thinking of buying Hyundai Accent 1.5(A) I would like to have comments (both good and bad) about this car on the following:
    1. Reliability
    2. Maintenance
    3. Economic (km per litre fuel)

If anyone has bought this car recently, can they tell me following:

    1. standard configuration/accessories
    2. Addition freebies that were thrown in or managed to bargain

    Thk u very much

Uncle, he said his budget is $63k. Dun think any new Toyota can be gotten with that amount.

The Hyundai is probably the best car to get for that budget. But the question is why dun you save a bit more by getting the 1.3L Manual?

From 3 owners of 1.3L and 1owner of 1.5L auto,

    1. So far pretty reliable
    2. Not much maintence other than the routine ones
    3. Initial batch suffers from gearbox problem. It is supposed to be fixed
    4. Not very fuel economical. But still average. Think can do about 12km/L

But in buying hyundai cars, do take note that you'll hv low resale value. And probably a lot of problems suffered in the last 3-5 yrs. Fuel economy is also not as good as Toyota & Honda. Of coz, if you're into the prestige symbol, there's none at all. You probably hardly hear people tell you that they bought a hyundai. But you do hear people saying they bough toyotas
