    i thought the k-5 was a major jump for me. never used the k20d personally, but i was using canon 450d.

    if u thought af was bad on the k-5, wait till u see the old 450d :P i'm getting more accurate shots with the k-5 wide open, then i ever got with my old camera...

    the buttons initially gave me some problems, but i managed to configure it. the only problem for me, was that i have to hold the "ok" button, to switch from af-point selection to the white balance selection. that was a little troublesome

    Well, that's not a fair comparison as K-5 is not entry level while the Canon 450D is.

    That said, I agree that the OK button thing is a little off-putting. In this aspect, I admit I prefer the K20D's approach of pressing the function button before selecting WB changes, Drive mode changes, etc... But I suppose some people do find changing these things quickly important... Me, I don't..

    yep. i moved away from shooting events (since i'm no longer in school), so it doesn't affect me too much at the moment.

    they probably have a setting for us to set. or it might be hackable... will have to search
