We are the first nation to change English to Singlish.

Increasingly the world starts to feel the linguistic influence of the little red dot.

Chinese will take English back one day. First thing they do is burn all English books and unite the world under one language and replace English with 汉语.

Oh, I thought Qin shihuang spoke the Queen's English, while the rest spoke Cockney.

    That's why someone says,

English also belongs to China, it was on loan to the white people for a period of time, so now must take it back !!

You don't really invent mathematics per se. One plus one is equal to two for natural numbers and pi is 3.14 even to an extraterrestrial from another planetary system.

Road sign in parts of Europe. Yellow diamond with white border means you have right of way.
If there is a black diagonal through the yellow diamond - then vehicles coming on to the road from the right hand side, have the right of way.

That's good if the angmoh can pick up Mandarin. The difference between the PRC of 2012 and the Japan of 1980s is that the Chinese want to learn English. Japan was an economic & technological powerhouse in the 60's, 70's and 80's. Let us see what happens if a big fraction of PRC's population achieve English proficiency.

That's true (of the Ming after they burnt Cheng Ho's ships) but the Ching were stupid to continue it.
The book shows the arrogance and state of mind of Japanese at the time. But it really depends on US for defence.
