I do agree. Suarez behavior - not shaking hands and kicking ball at HT is a disgrace. I saw papers last week, KD mentioned Suarez will shake hands so I was surprised that he din, KD should not have supported this behavior post match. Sorry but this is wrong for LFC.

com'on, he is overly protective! this will make LFC look very bad!

he should simply have said that he missed that part or 'no comment'.

its a delicate issue and it mux be handled with extreme care.
KD says it right, ask yourself if you were innocent and punished will you shake the %*&^&*^ hand?? He has alot of grievances after the case ofcourse he Bui Song all this started from that low class, play loss complain to mother !!! Shake hand or not is no big issue, don't think there is a rule in the FA for that, the most kana unsporting behaviour, player fine. Shaking hand actually is very unhygiene, you won't know where the other person hand was in before you touch it.

Alex Ferguson says Luis Suarez is a 'disgrace' and should never play for Liverpool again after the striker refused to shake Manchester United captain Patrice Evra's hand.

Suarez was making his first start for Liverpool at Old Trafford on Saturday since returning from an eight-match suspension after being found guilty of racially abusing Evra during the reverse meeting at Anfield in October.

Much of the pre-match build-up had been dominated by whether the two players would shake hands before kick-off but, after Evra offered his hand, Suarez ignored the gesture.

Evra then grabbed Suarez by the arm before the Uruguay international's offer of a handshake was snubbed by United defender Rio Ferdinand.

There was subsequently a bust-up between the players in the tunnel at half-time before Evra celebrated United's 2-1 win at the final whistle by jumping around near Suarez.

Red Devils boss Ferguson was stunned by Suarez's refusal to shake Evra's hand and offered a damning verdict after the match, which saw the champions move to the top of the Premier League table.

"I could not believe it, I just could not believe it," Ferguson told Sky Sports.

"He's a disgrace to Liverpool Football Club, that certain player should not be allowed to play for Liverpool again.

"The history that club's got and he does that and in a situation like today could have caused a riot.

"I was really disappointed in that guy, it was terrible what he did."

Ferguson added: "It created a tension, you've seen the referee didn't know what to do about it.

"It caught him off guard. It was a terrible start to the game, a terrible atmosphere it created."

Asked if the pre-match handshakes should have been scrapped for the game as it was last month when John Terry and Anton Ferdinand faced each other, he said: "That's a different issue altogether.

"It's never been a problem really up until this situation regarding racism, it's never been a problem.

"We've got to get our house in order in terms of fighting racism. It's an important issue in this country.

"Football's come a long way from the days of John Barnes when they were throwing bananas at him to where we are today. We can't go back. We have to go forward in a positive way and ban it altogether."

Evra enthusiastically celebrated the win in front of Suarez at the end and Ferguson admitted: "He shouldn't have done that."

now SAF come and stir sai.

i also think Suarez, despite him being very talented, will not be playing for LFC next season.
Tell fergie there was a manure hero who gave a spectator a flying kick..got banned for months..that is as big a disgrace..tell him look after his own sai at old toilet before talking about LFC..lolZ..senile old man..

That liar keep his hands down when its Suarez turn. Note from 0.27 sec how he shake the rest of the players hand and how different when its Suarez turn. He extent his hands to the other players but when come Suarez turn he held back his hand. Suarez hand is there for the taking but he held back his dirty hand. After that he look into the cameras and complain, so fake. Imagine how you shake peoples hand at quick succession in a line, you keep your hand at the same level same position and not returning it to your side or closer to your body after every hand shake. Again if you felt wronged by others at that instant moment what will you do?? Do you complain to the cameras or to the person himself?? For me I will stare at that person and complain to him.

Liverpool FC: Why Luis Suarez Was Right Not to Shake Patrice Evra's Hand

Few things in the past decade of football have been more predictable. It had already been written in stone. Manchester United vs Liverpool. Devils vs Reds. Luis Suarez vs Patrice Evra. Abuser vs Victim.
You could see coming it from a mile away.
Before the game had even started, it was already mired in controversy, with Suarez—suspended eight games earlier this season for allegedly racially abusing Evra—refusing to shake the Frenchman's hand.
Predictably, there has been another cry of outrage over the actions of Suarez, with football fans all over the world believing he should be kicked out of the English game for good.
Admittedly, Suarez has had a bumpy road these past few seasons.
It all seemed to start on the 2nd of July 2010, when Suarez, in what he described as "the save of the tournament," punched the ball off the line for Uruguay in injury time of the World Cup Quarter-Final against Ghana. His red-card, along with Asamoah Gyan's missed penalty, allowed Uruguay to qualify for the Semifinals.
Suarez was labelled a villain and a cheat by people who did not even begin to consider what they would have done had they been in Suarez's position, in the right place at the wrong time.
On the 7th of December, the Football Association suspended Suarez one game for making an "alleged gesture" towards Fulham fans in a game two nights prior. Photographs would later prove that the FA were completely correct in their decision, but nevertheless, the lack of concrete evidence the FA presented was alarming.

Just this week, Suarez was once again accused of foul play, after kicking Tottenham midfielder Scott Parker in the midsection. Parker had moments earlier headed away a ball that, in Suarez's eyes, was headed for his foot.
While Suarez seemed genuinely concerned and worried in reaction to Parker's injury, he was rightly booked for his recklessness. Rather than leave it at that, the entire footballing world has once again made Suarez its scapegoat. Of course, his accidental kick on Parker was worth yet another suspension.
Then, of course, there's the racist row with Evra.
Suarez was accused of racially abusing Evra and suspended eight games, seeing the 2011/12 season stolen away from his team. Again, it was alleged; there was never any video proof.
While one could easily berate the Liverpool forward for not shaking Evra's hand, consider the fact that there is no rule for or against it. Consider the fact that Suarez saw the whole incident with Evra in a completely different light. Consider the fact that Evra received nothing despite reportedly saying to Suarez, "don't touch me, South-American."
Also consider Evra's antics at the match, including instigating a fight with the Liverpool players in the tunnel at halftime and attempting to again by dancing in front of the Uruguayan after the final whistle.
So say what you like, Sir Alex. The point remains: Luis Suarez should not have shook Patrice Evra's hand.
Liverpool fans stand by Luis Suarez 100 percent. I stand by him 100 percent.
