    Default D70

    when i switch my lense to M/A and my camera to A/F why cant i take picture.I press the shutter button but it doesnt shoot.Y hah?

    If it cannot focus, it cannot fire.

    What is your advice? So what should I do to make it fire? sory im new in camera..

    Hi Tay,
    Did you read the "Nikon Guide to Digital Photography with the D70 Digital Camera" manual that come together with your set?

    If not, I would suggest you to "study" the manual...
    I just spent the whole night reading and testing the camera.
    It's very informative... Enjoy!

    nikon cameras on AF dun allow the shutter to be released if the pix is not in focus..... even if ya lens is set on manual/auto...ultimately ya camera controls it..

    Most prob you are too close to the subject. Try aiming at something DISTINCT and FARAWAY.....
