    Hi CSer's,

    Just wanted to ask if there are some of you went to phuket using TigerAirways and have their tripod hand carried?
    Are they strict?

    Lol. Tripods on a plane.

    The last time i told a member to call up the hotline, he was pretty nasty saying that airline call centers do not operate 24/7.

    For all those out there, they do. Airlines are a 24/7 365 days a year operation. It's just common sense isn't it

    I went phuket via jetstar, tripod strapped to my hand carry luggage. no problem.

    but when i went bali they ask me to check in. so see lor.

    No problem, I hand carried one on board, You can always confirm at the check in counter.

    maybe TS isn't intending to purchase check in lugguge and worried that if they don't allow check in, he'll be darned

    anyway it depends on
    1) The person at the check-in counter
    2) The person checking the checking the passport/boarding pass at the customs area
    3) The person checking the checking the passport/boarding pass at the boarding gate


    Mostly no problems with my hand carry stuff, only once I was asked to check in my handcarry

    I thought TS will be asking about taking photographs next to a 200 kg sedated tiger at Phuket Zoo.
