Thread: Adobe RGB and sRGB questions

Default Adobe RGB and sRGB questions

I calibrated my monitor and edited/saved my images shot in Adobe RGB colour space in photoshop.

But when I view the edited images in Windows eg Explorer, ie not photoshop, the images all appeared fairly over-saturated, eg more red.

Is it because the Windows Explorer is not in Adobe RGB colour space? Just making a guess... Hope you all can help here... Thanks!

I assume you got a PC not a MAC. You should calibrate your monitor for sRGB. You can edit photos in any space you want but need to convert to sRGB before saving as jpeg.
