Sorry buddy, but I have to politely disagree with you on this. I believe you can shoot an egg in 101 different ways.

Depends on how you want to capture them. Have a look at the plane spotter threads here. A good opportunity is at sunset time when the planes come from North crossing Changi Beach. or: after sunset (blue hour) at East Coast Park when they arrive from South. Check the wind and you will know, planes always start and land against the wind.

i seen lots of people doing landscape shoots (for sunset) over here. Portrait wise not many.
hmm i had no idea. but i remember that the jetty is no longer accessible, as well as some of the trails. not sure if it's for redevelopment or out of bounds

unless u want to get caught (no one will let u shoot there and all the aeroplanes wait for u to shoot). if u want runway, u can try the old airport opposite where our old national stadium used to be. its currently occupied by PA, think u had to write to them to get permission to shoot.

alternatively, if u can shoot in wide open roads in Tuas area during weekends afternoon. I did a model shoot sometime back last year.

    just note the traffic condition.

Lim Chu Kang Rd along Muslim / Chinese Cemetery is an 'unofficial runway' - straight for some kilometers.

October-March, you can shoot incoming airplanes from around Changi Business Park/Changi City Point Shopping Centre
Months other than the above are from Changi Beach.

No departure airplane is possible unless you have over 400mm lens
