Nikon View-ed thumbnails not matching with actual image data

Hi there all!
I have some problems viewing my pictures from Nikon View 6.2.2.

The thumbnail image viewed from Nikon View does not tally with the actual image data (ie, rotation, curves). Viewing them with another viewer (ie, iView Media Pro, ACDSee) is ok.

When I click on the picture, the correct image data is there. But the thumbnail's wrong. Selecting the option "generate thumbnails from actual image data" worked for me.

I tried to use EXIFer to regenerate the thumbnail, but to no avail. Is this a Nikon View problem? Any other EXIF software to solve this?
