Get a used one, price should be droping. As S3pro is coming and it about the same prices as S2pro new. People will want to up grade. S2 is stiil a great camera.

Last 'overheard' abt the price of S3 is abt $3.5K and up... Dun expect it to be in the $2k range or at least the same price as a S2 brand new...
S2 is a great cam and got to know from Fuji that you can upgrade your warrenty to 3 yrs. If anything bad (touch wood!) happens, they'll cover MOST of the repair costs. So it's still worth investing in a S2 pro. However, if you dun mind the wait, D100 replacement could be a better choice?? ![]() |

Saw from CNET's ads that S3 Pro is launching @ Sitex, for a hair under S$4k.

Thank you all for the good advise. I need a new S2 for my underwater work & S2 can sync with any UW strobe in the market. 2nd hand S2 life span might be almost there......if something wrong & need to pay more for repair or buy new I POKE MAN.

Thought I could have some 'hands-on' session at Sitex today but only to find out that there's no S3 Pro there....
What a wasted trip............ ![]() |
