Default Microbiology

Determination of MIC of Mycoplasma hominis by E test.

The genus Mycoplasma consist of one of the smallest form of bacteria and it is unique that these bacterias do not possess a cell wall. They are extremely fastidious and sensitive to pH changes. They can even be killed by water. Due to its fastidious nature, they do not form a lawn like other bacteria and along with the microscopic size of its colonies, it is difficult to determine the MIC, even by E-test

Well, reports in my field of studies can be like such and can go on and on and on.....

p/s: Don't ask me why I put this here..... Perhaps I be more relavent next time by showing images of fungus which are the nightmare of photographers.

pp/s: Er... Yah, I need advice on taking of such pictures where the contrast is poor, how should I adjust the lighting so as to show the colonies more clearly?
