    that website not exactly fool proof... exif data can be stripped off.

    the person who bought from the thief... if he or she PP his photos often (not everyone use straight from cam photos usually). then this online tool is useless since the PP tool he is using may have stripped off the exif data.

    for this guy who lost his 5DMKII, he is lucky that a tattoo artist bought the stolen camera, and I am sure he uses the straight out of camera photos to upload without any PP.

    So it still depends on luck.
