speaking abt the weather, i hope it will not happen, but IF (very big IF here) it rains on fri nite or thru the nite, is the outing still on for sunrise shoot?
since most of the ppl in the list want to shoot sunrise, lets hear some opinion before we come to a conclusion.

    that's a very big IF

i'll continue to shoot rain or shine ... just with or without sunrise ... if no sunrise to shoot due to rain, all interested people can still have breakfast at punggol plaza, get to know each other and plan for another time, and anyone interested can join me for the shoot rest of the day ... in any case will update weather situations on friday night and saturday morning

gentle reminder: please PM evq your contact number so that in case of 'emergency' we can contact everyone

ANOTHER reminder: if it rains in the night before the shoot, the path to location 'a' is going to get real muddy, so get some proper footwear ... preferably shoes that you normally use for wear and tear situations.

The night before must pray to te-gong, tolong tolong don't rain. If not don't think the bus stop have place for 15 over ppl to stand. Most likely cameras and tripods can place at bus stop, while the rest of us have to stand in the rain.

If shoot half way rain how? Got any place to evacuate to?

would be wise to invest in one of those disposable rain coat and a big thrash bag. small and light to carry around.

the former to protect yourself and the latter for your gear....

If I have only ONE choice, my gears MUST be protected at all cost....

For me, can take MC lah....still got plenty of sick leave not used for this year....

lcation 'b' and 'c': move to busstop around location 'b', if rain gets heavy and prolonged we can always hop onto the bus to go p2 (need to walk abit from busstop) to lim kopi ... (the only bus serving this stop is 82, which goes to hougang central via punggol mrt and sengkang)

location 'd' and along punggol river: move to bus interchange canteen at location p3

reminder: bring umbrella or light rain coat (to shelter you) and plastic bags (to shelter equipment) in case there is not enough time to hide from rain

agree, $30 doctor fee is still cheaper than hundreds of dollars of servicing fee, hehe ... but of course always be ready to shelter yourself AND your equipment lah

whoa ... how long does it take you to come punggol by bus? i know #3 makes alot of funny turns within tampines and pasir ris and that's very time consuming, but once it gets on TPE it should reach location 'X' in less then 20min (generous estimate), maybe 15min should reach given smooth traffic in early hours, check out the sbstransit website http://www.sbstransit.com.sg/sbstravelguide/index.htm the stop to alight is named 'block 166A', Punggol East

    Default drivers please note

    1. images of punggol plaza for those not living here

it's along Punggol Field, shown is the exterior and the entry for vehicles

    2. route to location 'X'

parking is at basement 2, please take the lift to level 1 and exit the main entrance, after which go to the left direction (first pic) and follow the main road towards east, where you will come to a left turn, follow through and you will reach location 'X' (last pic)

    3. route to location 'a'

i did not have the chance to shoot this route today, but here's a rough idea of how the track runs
