    Thanks foxtwo, espn, student (you're fantastic-must be a professor in optics by now, prb chose your nick sometime back and did not have chance to change....hehehe) n reachme2003.

    Learn a lot from just reading this thread. Glad I started it.

    Going to maldives next wk. Hope to get some fantastic shots there. definitely will be bringing my CPL along.

    I would second that. It will be very useful to reduce contrast difference between the sky and sea.

    Get a tripod also for low light situations such as early mornings and sunsets
