    Default SD card err!

    anyone got any idea y why my 16GB extreme pro SD card canot be formatted on camera nor computer, keep on giving me the 'cannot be formatted' error" then on camera also show card err ... help? if reli canot then have to buy new one? Haiz ..
    If the photo i took is 1% unclear, I will rather delete .. www.flickr.com/photos/59837685@N03/

    Try it on another computer first and see how.

    Btw... the card cannot be formatted, but can you actually assess to the card?

    show card err on camera .. canot open and when ever i try to open, it prompt me to reformat

    Bro, you may want to check this,

    Format Recovery - Recovery formatted data quickly and safely

    might help you recover some lost data from your SD card.

    If the card is not recognized upon connecting it to the PC then the issue is not with the file system (although it might look like that). The suggestion of formatting is standard answer of Windows OS.
