Default MOTORSHOW-SUZUKI's gals simple request

Okay ..... there are a lot of pics of SUZUKI's gals in many sub-forums here these few days. I dun intend to post mutiple threads as the MODs will 'shoot' me for this.

I am sure we all agree two of the SUZUKI's gals are the most popular subjects to shoot during the show and some of you are already going 'ga ga' over them by visiting the show again. Anyway, I have been the personal photographer for them these few days. My hands and legs are sore ..they walked, I walked... they posed, I took pics for them. Anyway, they know most of you are eager to share your fotos for constructive critique but can you guys do one step further by informing each other if your pics were/ are leeched to sites of obscene nature. You know very well this will happen when you post pics of pretty gals in this forum.....it always happen If it has already happened, kindly inform the necessary administrators your rights to your pics and have them remove your images from those sites asap. We are nice photographers, right ? So, we should respect these models like our 'sisters' ???

Your kind assistance would be appreciated by them. They are nice enuff to pose for you ...so be nice too by monitoring your images of them posted here

If you need to find me, I will be with them Thank You for reading.

Happy shooting !!!! Cheers !

i understand what you mean.

some models do politely request that their photos do not end up posted online, and would like to see their photos personally

so true ... they would rather receive their pics thru' emails ..but thats the problem with male hormones ....so many CSers were/are so eager to share their takes.......they are 'overexposed' liao Trust me, SUZUKI's booth is one of the most popular booth other than YAMAHA Once they stopped for a pose, they will be 'swarmed' with photo requests.

i think respect is one thing, their job nature won't allow this to happen. they shd know that their photos will definitely be posted all around since the day they wanted to take the job, what's the point of requesting that? if dun want photos to be online, then don't take that job.

just my opinion, dun flame me, i just saying the truth.

True ... true ...

We are not the only photographer who shoot and share the photos here ... those website may have their own shooters ... just PNS camera will do the job and loaded up to their web forum ... the quality may or may not be there ...what they want is just to "SEE" .. and comments whatever they want ...

Anyway .. if you do came across such posting ... do keep us a buzzzz ...

And do take note that only the Portraits section is opened to members only, this section allows non-members to browse oso ... correct me if I am wrong ..

One thing came into my mind regards the statement (in red above). Even if the photos are post in the member only section, what if some of the member here might be the admin of those obscene site ? Thus , setting up a member only thread don't seem to be the solution.

They can escape being trace but download the photos and put it in their website instead of hot link to it.

Regards

It's not possible to know if your pics are leeched and also impossible to check all the site to monitor if your pics happen to reappear somewhere else. This is the WWW - not even restricted to the local scene. So, either keep it and keep it safe from leeching OR post it for everybody to see and subject it to leeching.

There has been numerous thread on this subject of leeching - looks like it's almost impossible to stop leeching.

At least it is restricted to members and there is some control ... no doubts it may be yes. But least not we do nothing ??

Totally agree with you AhV. I hate my pics getting leeched, and I'm sure most, if not all, of us here have the same feeling.

We need to unite as one and if we see any pics belonging to CSers appearing on any undesirable sites, or just any other sites, just do the necessary notification to the photographer.

Send a stern letter to the webmaster concerned, but be nice. If they take it, well and good. If not, engage a lawyer?

Do we have any legal rep from CS?

actually the purpose of a lot of CSers opsting is to requset for feedback and how they can improve... also a lot of us want to share our output with fellow lovers of photography.... nothing wrong in that i guess....

but how do we monitor if the pics we have taken are leeched ?

They purposely make the pics very small. This is a good way of preventing leeching too, as those 'leechers' most often don't like small pics IMO.

Leeching is a form of piracy, isn't it? Anyone here got any hacked software or firmware ? Do you only complain when others do it?

We learn alot from good criticism. I take reasonable steps with my photos...beyond that, I am not gunna stop posting or putting up galleries.

This topic have being discussed many many many donkey times.

If you don't want your pictures to be leeched? Don't post at all. Forget about watermarking, picture small small, flash, java all sorts. As long as your pictures are on the web, they tend to be replicate some ways.

Many argues that it's about "picture sharing", "ask for critique", "learning", etc etc. Well, there are 1001 topics out there to shoot with. We don't see many leeching on streetshots, insects, landscape, abstract shots. On top of that, these are definitely better "learning" topics then shooting those potential-leeched-shots.

Just my 0.02 cents.

And... this is a wrong forum for such topics.

aiyah, want to post, carry on; if want to stop posting, better still. do or don't, will be be damned. but it'd be nicer not to post, if there are already polite requests, ya?

ask your own conscience lor...
