http://www.clubsnap.com/forums/kopit...dalised-2.html when it doesnt even affect you (& others), unlike now when thousands of people are directly & adversely affected. If the SMRT cannot handle such a situation efficiently & effectively, I dread even to think of the day when a real crisis happen, like bombs going off in our trains (which is one scenario envisioned). Its better SMRT seriously go through all the planning & thinking again about crisis management now. The only fortunate thing is no one is seriously injured in this incident. To me a breakdown is only a matter of time cos the NSL is >23 years old & is under heavy stress with the sudden & steep population, ridership increase. Ever wonder how many buses are required to ferry one trainload of passengers??? & we have like a train every few minutes, both ways. Food for thought.

Don't worry, serious stuff like bombs won't happen. Its already envisaged that the passangers will notice the suspecious person leaving the bag behind and we then press the communication button to inform the staff.
Bomber gets caught and everyone happy. :-)
Well, at least that's what's show on their video.
