Here are some of my shots from the current MotorShow 2004. Comments are welcomed. Car shots are with D70 and kits lens while the models are with 50mm/f1.8.

Some PRO Subaru driver. Quite famous, people queue up to get this autograph.

Any comments on my photos? Would like to improve on them? I didn't had a flash so pictures were all shot with tripod and timer.

actually i am a newbie. yr photos are ok. i prefer the HONDA model with the right hand shown actually...no offence...cheers

thanks. i like the surrouding lighting rather than using flash, may turn out harsh because i'm not good in controlling flashes. I didn't have the $$ to buy a flash for my D70 yet.

I don't recommend shooting with the 50mm lens wide open like you did for those portraits

. Even one or two stops down will make a big difference in photo quality. OK...not much light...but try one more stop down.

Thanks for the tip. Will keep that in mind if shooting in such a scenerio again.
