Default Elsewhere in Suntec over the weekend.... Salsa Competition!

Captured the following at Tropics Atrium while many were shotting away at the Motorshow:

Pardon the shadows which were rather harsh.

I went to the Motorshow too while waiting for this event. Would post some pics later of the beautiful models.

from the EXIF info, you shot the last photo at iso400, 1/250, f/5.6 at 44mm. why not try 2nd curtain flash sync, with a slower shutter? something better might come out of it. shooting indoor events like this, isn't like shooting sports indoors.

have to admit that I hadn't thought of it then. guess was too lazy on a lazy sunday afternoon using 2nd curtain flash with a slower shutter could get some good shots with motion blur that emphasizes the dance movements. However, it's not that easy get a good "end" point (when the flash fires) though but still worth trying.

Below are some pics of the models from the Motorshow (I specifically go for the models, not the cars on show). Colours are out though for some of the shots (due to underexposure)

all direct flash had expected the stage to be under the sunlight and with some spotlight but ended up otherwise (under shade with minimal lights).
